About Us

We are proud to bring a piece of Alaska’s bounty to tables far and wide, one salmon at a time. Hook and line caught.

Growing up, Shane spent his high school summers working as Deckhand on a Commercial Troller boat in Southeast Alaska, learning the trade and building a passion for harvesting the finest Salmon. These formative years laid the foundation of a long life dream. After years away, he had the incredible opportunity to purchase the fishing vessel, MARCIA K, which used to belong to his dad for several years when Shane was serving in the Navy. Now the boat is back in the family, where it belongs.

Rekindling this legacy that means so much to us. And we can’t wait to share it with you.

High Quality & Sustainable

In a world of uncertainty about where your food comes from, you can trust that every bite of ALPS Legacy wild-caught Alaskan salmon is sourced from a reputable commercial troller, known for its commitment to quality and sustainability. Nothing but the best, every time.

Trolling fishing involves towing multiple fishing lines, each with baited hooks, behind a moving boat. This method ensures that only healthy, prime fish are brought in. It is also more sustainable than other methods like netting and reduces the risk of damage or stress that can affect the fish’s condition.

Wild-Caught

100% wild-caught, NO Net, free from harmful antibiotic, quimical, GMO and dyes.

Fishing in Alaska is more than a livelihood; it’s our passion. We take pride in honoring the traditions of hard work, quality, and respect for the sea. Every fish we catch reflects our dedication to providing the freshest, highest-quality King and Coho Salmon the ocean has to offer.

Wild-caught salmon is considered better by many because it typically has a more natural diet, leading to a richer flavor and firmer texture. It’s also leaner and contains fewer calories than farmed salmon. Wild salmon usually has higher levels of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids. For these reasons, we want to bring our fresh salmon to as many people as we can.

Our journey began after serving the U.S. Navy for 27 years, before returning to his Alaskan roots. Today, as a commercial fisherman in Alaska, along with my family I continue the tradition of bringing high-quality, fresh salmon to our community, honoring the legacy of resilience and passion passed down through generations.
